We have a few mongeese in our backyard. I will try and take a photo of him next time he pops in for a visit. I probably wont have to wait long too see him again...
KH: Have you been feeding the mongoose?
ES: No
KH: It came up close to me today and wasn’t even scared.
ES: Oh.
KH: You haven’t been feeding it?
ES: No, I just gave it something to eat
KH: (rising eyebrows) How is that not feeding it?
ES: Well… that’s different to just throwing pieces of food at it. I was holding the food.
KH: Did it eat out of your hand?
ES: No, not yet. He’s going to make a nice little pet…I’n’t?
ES: No
